A wish-making charity is inviting supporters
to get sizzling and support its efforts helping seriously ill children... as well as offering up some ideas for
delicious dishes...
The Rays of Sunshine wish-making charity is
releasing its new fundraising cookbook, Dish for a Wish, featuring recipes
from 35 chefs and a number of celebs, including Gordon Ramsay, Michel Roux
Jnr, One Direction, JLS, Gwyneth Paltrow and Leona Lewis.
The book out this month is supporting the
children's charity that arranges visits, holidays, shopping trips and other
experiences of a lifetime for children in need...
The new fun cookbook promises a number of
practical and tasty recipes as well as a foreword by the charity's
ambassador, Lorraine Pascale.
Rays of Sunshine enlists a number of
celebrity ambassadors to support its work cheering up children with serious
health conditions, including Gordon Ramsay, JB from JLS and Leona Lewis.
Other celebrity supporters include Simon
Cowell who has been involved in helping to grant wishes for the charity,
Chelsea FC captain John Terry, Dannii Minogue, the band the Saturdays and
many others...
Rays of Sunshine grants wishes to children
aged three to eighteen and has granted over 1,600 wishes since 2004...
The charity also funds hospital equipment for children's hospitals.
Previous wish beneficiaries have included a six year old with Spinal Muscular Astrophy who met boy band Take That ... and more recently a young Hello Kitty fan who met her feline hero at Harrods.
